VERY, VERY frustrating time! Power has been off for 5 days now- no end in sight- I live in an apartment complex, entire damn thing has had power since Sunday night, except the building I live in and two others, that takes the frustration level several steps beyond bearable!
Had to throw away a fridge and freezer full of food away, no money to restock if power should happen to come back on. Down to eating 2 fast food cheeseburgers a day...who can afford more the way things are going?
Take sponge baths but have to put same clothes on, which kind of defeats the purpose, as I can't can't do laundry and sure can't do the laundromat! Guess of I didn't eat two days, I could afford it.
Two schools open to furnish 1 meal and a shower! With the gas prices the way they are (and who's gonna stop them? Congress? Ha! Wanna buy a bridge, since you are that gullible?) who can afford to drive there? Food being given out in Louisville to those who need it, same reason applies there, cost of gas, and with most of the traffic signals still out there, enough said.
Oh well, no use bitching about it, I guess, won't change anything, just can't wait to see my power bill next month! Bet you it's twice as much to help them recoup their losses
